home delivered meals

 

Hot meals, meeting state guidelines, are delivered to the senior's home for the mid-day meal.  For the family's peace of mind, this service also includes the delivery staff checking on the well being of the senior. Home-style cooking is made fresh everyday in our own kitchens. Shelf stable meals are also provided in the winter  (packaged food that can be eaten when delivery cannot be made, as in the case of a snow emergency). Meals are delivered by courteous drivers.

 Age 60 years or older

 Huron County resident

 Homebound   (caregiver may also receive a meal - ask staff for

                             details) 

 Has great difficulty preparing a meal

 

 

Meals on wheels

This program is very similar to the "Home Delivered Meals" program except it is only available within the city limits of Norwalk; and depends on the help of many volunteers instead of staff to deliver the meals.
