response to community needs
The Services for Aging Foundation will serve the senior residents of Huron County by funding projects through Senior Enrichment Services. All project funding will help insure the goal of enriching lives for the county's aged population.
Giving options
The donor may provide an endowment in his or her name, memorialize another person, or draw attention to a corporation's charitable contribution. A donor may also bequest an endowment as part of their estate planning. a bequest can be made as a specified dollar amount or as a percentage of the estate.
recognition
Unless a donor requests anonymity, recognition for contributions will be made in Senior Enrichment Service's monthly newsletter, "The Senior Connection," and other public forums when appropriate.
Tax advantages
Any donation to Services for Aging Foundation will qualify as a charitable donation to a non-profit foundation. Charitable donations can be made currently, or over time with appreciated assets such as stock, helping to minimize capital gains taxes.
investment expertise
Donors can feel secure that funds will be professionally invested to yield a reasonable return for charity while offsetting inflation with fund growth. Unless so designated by the donor, principal will never be used, guaranteeing the perpetuity of the gift
Donors do not give to Senior Enrichment Services, they give to the senior residents of Huron County through the Services For Aging Foundation.
