2010 May Senior Celebration --

2:00 p.m. $7.50 TIckets go on sale
April 5th at 12:30 at both the Norwalk and Willard

Senior Of the Year
-- Every year
we recognize a special senior age 55 or older for all
their contributions to their community, friends and
family. Over the past few years, nominations have
continued to grow in number and have made this award a
very special part of May Senior Celebration. This is
your opportunity to help us recognize the contributions
of a very deserving county resident. Please pick up your
nomination form at either 130 Shady Lane Dr in Norwalk,
or 315 E Tiffin St in Willard.
Deadline for nominations is April
9th
2010 Census --
Census questionnaires will be delivered via US mail this
month. With only 10 questions and 10 minutes to
complete, this is one of the shortest questionnaires in
history. By law, the Census Bureau cannot share your
information with anyone. Every year, the federal
government allocates more than $400 billion to states
and communities based in part on the information
gathered from the census data collected. This
could mean more money for not only the senior center,
but the schools, hospitals, emergency services and
public works projects. So take 10 minutes and answer 10
questions to make a difference in our community.
